Amphibious Powersports LLP Labor Warranty Policy
This Labor Warranty Policy (“Policy”) is issued by Amphibious Powersports LLP (“Amphibious Powersports” or “We/Us/Our”), effective as of the date of service completion and applies to all vehicle services performed by Amphibious Powersports.
Duration of Warranty: This labor warranty is valid for 30 days from the date of service completion, as noted on the service invoice. The warranty commencement date is not dependent on the date of payment for the services.
Abandonment of Vehicles: If a customer does not collect their vehicle within two weeks from the date of service completion, the process for abandoned vehicles, as outlined in a separate document, will commence.
Coverage: This warranty exclusively covers labor services listed on the paid service invoice. Amphibious Powersports agrees to repair, free of charge, any defects in workmanship. A defect in workmanship is defined as the failure of the service work to meet the specifications provided by the vehicle’s manufacturer.
Exceptions: The following are exceptions to this labor warranty:
- Manufacturer Specifications Not Available: If the manufacturer does not provide specifications in a service manual, particularly prevalent in many Chinese manufactured vehicles.
- Specification Discrepancies: Instances where the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Service Manual lists a measurement that a new OEM part fails to meet.
- Customer-Supplied Parts: If any parts used in the repair are provided by the customer.
- Pre-Informed Circumstances: Any other circumstance where the customer is made aware of potential issues before or during the work being performed.
- Customer Attempted Repairs: If the customer makes any attempt to repair work that is allegedly defective under this warranty, the warranty will be void.
- Failure to follow recommended further maintenance at specified mileage or hours.
Scope and Limitations:
- This warranty applies solely to paid invoiced labor and does not extend to parts, which are covered under separate warranties provided by their respective manufacturers.
- The warranty does not cover any incidental damage resulting from a defective repair.
Claims Process: To initiate a warranty claim, the customer must contact Amphibious Powersports within the warranty period and provide proof of service (service invoice). We will then assess the claim to determine if it falls under the scope of this warranty.
- Amphibious Powersports reserves the right to inspect the vehicle to verify the warranty claim.
- Repairs under this warranty will be performed during our regular business hours.
- This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original customer.
