Launching Watercraft

• Be sure drain plugs are in prior to launching PWC into water!
• If PWC has not been started recently, you may need to pull choke while starting, until PWC starts. If PWC starts then dies, next time you start you don’t need to choke it. You may need to give it a little throttle as well.
• Make Sure Gas Selector is in on position – if you run out of fuel on the water, you can then change this to reserve (may be labelled “res”), so you can get back to shore. (May need to use above procedure when switching from on to reserve).
• Make sure your safety lanyard is attached to you. On SeaDoo watercraft, if the lanyard is not seated on post properly then the PWC will not start.
• Always wear a life vest. Make sure you have fire extinguisher and whistle on board.

Operation

• If you’re launching the watercraft out of the water, let off the throttle when you go airborne – if the engine revs high out of the water then is immediately slammed into water, the instant load of water will damage the engine.
• When going to shore, turn off the PWC 20 ft before shore, or when the water is less than 3 ft shallow. Note that steering does not work when engine is off. Then walk the PWC to shore, and be sure to pull it up on shore a bit so it doesn’t float away. Use the same method in reverse when leaving shore. Do not park the watercraft on rocks.
• Aboard the vessel from the back.
• If you flip it, follow the direction of rotation sticker on back to flip it back over.
• Legally you must stay 100’ away from other water vessels.

Loading onto trailer

• When backing trailer in, only back into water until water is covering about half of the trailer – you want about half of the bunks sticking above water to act as breaks if you are driving the PWC onto the trailer. Only do that if your comfortable doing so. otherwise just turn of the PWC and walk it onto the trailer. Once on trailer use winches to pull them into position.
• If you are driving PWC onto trailer, remember there is no steering when engine is off, and you should not have to give it any throttle, just idle speed is enough.
• After winched into place, pull trailer and PWC(s) out of the water, remove drain plugs, and strap down the back of PWC(s).

Operación

    Si está lanzando la moto de agua fuera del agua, suelte el acelerador cuando vaya por el aire; si el motor sale del agua a altas revoluciones y se lanza inmediatamente al agua, la carga instantánea de agua dañará el motor.
    Cuando vaya a la orilla, apague el PWC 20 pies antes de la orilla, o cuando el agua esté a menos de 3 pies de profundidad. Tenga en cuenta que la dirección no funciona cuando el motor está apagado. Luego lleve la moto acuática a la orilla y asegúrese de levantarla un poco para que no se aleje flotando. Cargando en remolque

    Cuando retroceda el remolque, solo vuelva al agua hasta que el agua cubra aproximadamente la mitad del remolque; desea que aproximadamente la mitad de las literas sobresalgan del agua para actuar como frenos si está conduciendo el PWC hacia el remolque.     Si está conduciendo una PWC hacia un remolque, recuerde que no hay dirección cuando el motor está apagado, y no debería tener que acelerar, solo la velocidad de ralentí es suficiente.
    Después de colocar el cabrestante en su lugar, saque el remolque y la(s) PWC(s) del agua, quite los tapones de drenaje y amarre la parte trasera de la(s) PWC.
